the alarm on my 2002 vectra 2.2 sri has started to go off on its own. it happened first of all last night when it was quite cold. the car battery is as old as the car ,about 6 1/2 years , could this be the problem
did the car start in the morning? if so then the battery is probably not the cause to your problem. Try unplugging the bonnet switch and see if this makes any difference, good place to start when trying to find a problem on factory alarms :-)
