| Aerial Connection Problem
Hi, I am a new member here and am hoping that someone here will have the answer to my query!
I have just removed a Goodmans radio unit from my 1999 Astra, and when connecting my new Sony Xplod system I get no radio reception at all, I have been to halfords and the guy said that I should just gaffa tape the cable onto the radio, which have done to no avail.
My first thought is, have I lost part of the aerial conenction when taking out the old stereo, I seem to remember seeing a small white piece of what I think was plastic on the end of the connector, however this is not there now, is this something needed to connect the radio to the stereo?
