1, Space available, (or pref mounting position)....
2, Budget....
3, Basic rundown of setup....
4, Pre-fab or custom enclosure....
5, Available power or details of amp to be used....
6, Type of music pref....
7, Effect desired, (output, quality or a little of both)....

Heard good things about THESE but haven't used one myself yet....Whether it suits your needs is anyones guess until you supply the relevant info....

pre fab---BAD IDEA---best design & build a custom enclosure for best results....
probs about 1500 amp---1500w rms, or 1500 max bull****????

good quality sound and hard thump---Hard thump would suggest you may be happier with a larger cone, have you considered a 12" or 10" ???
