Astra Car Alarm

Hi all, well first of all when I drive my car for the first time that day I’ll turn my engine off and the car will give off 4 to 5 beeps, secondly the alarm will go off all hours of the night. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong, how much it would cost to repair and also can I disconnect it as I can’t lock my car as it’s doing peoples head in. Cheers.

what alarm is it?

have you tried altering the sensitivity setting?

sounds like the sensitivity switch is turned up too high, has it got proxy sensors by any chance?

just the stardard alarm from vauxhall, i think......

sounds like the ultrasonics are too sensative,

ur leaving the windows etc open n the pressure inside the cabbin is changine

the beeping is to let you know the alarm has gone off
