Anyone got mounting info for putting speakers into the front of a Veccy? I assume they are the usual 6.5" but what about the depth? Is it possible to put three ways into them. I'm thinking of treating myself to a set of Dynaudios but dunno whether to get the 2 way or three way (6" or 8" woofers) Would I need to build footwell pods for the larger ones and fit the mids n tweets into the doors?

The speaker setup in the door is almost identical to a cavalier gsi, 6.5 inch mid driver and tweeter, and depending age of a gsi it will have a 3rd speaker above the mid bass driver too

you can buy adapter rings for the doors, the same as required for cavaliers but not sure if there are any for the speaker above the midbass unit, its about 3 inches across maybe 4

the only downside is you will need to mount the crossover in the door as the tweeter is in the door unlike the cavalier setup

Our P reg CDx we just broke has 3 speakers in the front doors.

6" base, 5" mid, and a 2" tweeter. aprox.

Yeah according to the brochures I have read (john has a gsi) it is dependant on age over when the 3rd speaker was standard in the 10 speaker setup or not in the 6 speaker set up
