    corsa central locking

Fitted a alarm today and wired the locking negative and it worked for a wile. Then it suddenly stopped working and blew a 20a fuse in the fuse box so i changed that and the locking still doesnt work but does when the ignition is on. This is driving me mad.

Have i blown the cental locking module and douse anyone know where it is on a corsa

Central locking unit's in the drivers kick panel. If you have wired it up negative pulse, brown/red to lock and brown/white to unlock there's no reason why it should have blown the fuse.

    Re: corsa central locking

I have just had exactly the same problem on my GFs Corsa B. I was checking the wiring prior to fitting an alarm, and I think I shorted two wires. The 20A fuse blew, which I replaced, but now the CL only works properly with the ignition switched on.

Have I destroyed the CL module or does it need resetting in some way? Disconnecting the battery for 10 mins didn't help.

    Thanks in advance guys
