    Wtf Right..question about a ford radio unit..sorry...

Has anyone on here ever diddled with Ford radio units? I was looking at the old dear's '95 Fiesta mk4 yesterday. Bag of ****e ford deck was being utterly terrible.

Whipped it out, to find that the PO had obviously had an aftermarket deck in there, and had just used bullet connectors to refit a standard ford unit when they sold it.

However, it's a 4 speaker stereo unit, in a 2 speaker car. The fader and balance do nothing really, and one speaker never works. When I saw the speaker plug, it seems they've just cut off the wires they thought were not needed. I reckon they've totally mis-wired it.

However, I can't find a pinout of the speaker connectors anywhere! It's an 8(ish) pin rectangular plug.

As I say, the deck is a standard older ford unit..nothing fancy. The only label on it was "Sound 2000"..any ideas anyone?
