    streering controls on mrk4 astra

    is there anyway i can get an adapter so i can work the steering controls for my alpine stereo? the dealer told me thay can only work on standerd stereos
    the computer won at chess but i beat it at kick boxing

    As far as I know, you can only get an adaptor wire for Sony stereo's mate.

    I fitted mine to my Astravan about an hour ago. Works a treat.

    you can get adaptors for most makes, go to www.caraudiodirect.co.uk and look on there for steering adaptors, i got one for my JVC its only certain models tho

    mmmm...just found a steering adapter thats compatible with my stereo (model number CDE-9845RR)! but it does'nt say what car it fits in tho!

    Alpine do make controllers for astra mk4's. I have one for my kenwood, the corsa has one for its sony and I am 100% sure there's one for alpine too.

    Hey guys... mot wanting to steal ur thread...

    but I have an audioleads adapter. It's ok but quite often you press one of the controls on the steering wheel.. and the stereo does something else!! Anyone elses do that?

    just got my adaptor and it does'nt work i'm preety sure i've wire it right!?!?!? just don't know if thay are faulty or not!

    i tried mine ont he weekend all was well except the skip forward button worked intermittingly im guessin a loose wire?
