Pioneer tv tuner from the US, will it work here?

ive been looking at the pioneer gex-p5700 tv tuner to go with my avh-p5700dvd h/u. there are some in the US on ebay at very good prices but not sure if it will work, it says compatible with vhf/uhf, anyone got one or know if it will work or not?

also is there anything on the market to recieve freeview channels in the car?

re the tuner i have no idea if regional coding PAL/NTSC is the same with car hi fi

freeview, all you need to find is one that runs on 12v, hook up a scart connector with a phono 'out' to run the video feed and audio then hook it up to the h/u.

radio wont work properly coz american waveband is different. Ull only b able to pick up Radio one. Tv will prob be the same. had an american bus at my work which had an american stereo.
