I wouldnt cut any,if you have a local car audio shop near by i would buy a wiring harness adaptor for about £11 and save all the hassle. If you still have the original radio you can always put it back in when you come to sell it.

awwww, the k11, brings back so many memories *tear to the eye*

Thats before I barrel rolled the son of a bitch and spun it on its roof lmao

I drove that little car like a proper rally slag, lol, calmed down a lot since mind...

Anyway, I found connectors to be just over a tenner... surly that cant be that bad... Makes putting it back to standard a breeze as well.

Blimey that's good timing, am gonna put my old Alpine in the missus W-reg Micra later; had the harness for a bit, but it wouldn't fire up when I connected it before; might be down to the aerial?

Some of the Jap cars use the earth through the aerial so untill you connect it it wouldnt work.

    k11 is gay

when i changed mums, i cudnt work out the earth neither, turnd out the original was earthed via the stereo chassis which touches the metal on the side, so i just screwed the earth cable in to one of the screw holes where the standard stereo brackets went

    worked fine

Ohh.. great problems, changed radio on my sisters Micra 1.0 1996
the problem now is the rear light on both sides is gone and so is instrument light also,
no fuses blown, i think i have taken power to radio on wire D on the little connector
from original radio. ihave tried to disconnect radio but still no tail lights..

    regards Jesper
