THE WORK CARRIED OUT:
*
INLET MANIFOLD DEGREASED AND CHEMICALLY CLEANED INSIDE AND OUT = used fairy liquid
*
PRESSURE TESTED FOR CRACKS (NONE PRESENT) = put up to lips and gave a good puff
*
ALL THREADED STUDS AND HOLES RE-CHASED = cleaned with cotton bud
*
PIPE OUTLETS CLEANED AND BLOWN THROUGH = again use of lips and puff
*
EXTERIOR OF MANIFOLD HAS BEEN MEDIA BLASTED = b&q sand paper
*
THROTTLE BODY OPENING AND CASTING OPENED OUT AND DE-RESTRICTED TO IMPROVE FLOW = had some b&q sand paper left over
*
RUNNERS/BORES CLEANED,PORTED AND MACHINED AS SEEN. = had more fairy liquid over and sand paper
*
EXTERIOR SURFACE KEYED,PRIMED BLACK AND COATED IN HEAT RESISTANT GLOSS BLACK = loads of sand paper from b&q and a tin of hamer****e
*
WHOLE UNIT HAS BEEN LUBRICATED. = spit and polish (or copper grease..old user joke)
*
MATING FACES HAVE BEEN SKIMMED = still more sand paper
*
BRASS FITTING ULTRASONICALLY CLEANED AND FLUSHED THROUGH = put them in the dish washer with some gravel. |
