Ok engines in, and fired the bitch up last night (with no down pipes on!!!! f*ck me was it loud!)
Few questions if anyone can help.
1. Once all the power and earth cables are connected, the battry light comes on the dash without the ignition being on.
Once the ignition is on the battry light goes out.
Could this be a bad earth?
Is the alternator F*cked? ( was ok when running in cavalier)
All I did was plug the astras ignition plug (K-reg convertible) in to the V6s one (L-reg cavalier). Could it be that the wires going in to the plug are positioned diffrently? But car will start and run.
2. Im using the V6 power steering pump on the astra pipe work.
One hose that is connects to the bottom of the pump fits fine. The one that goes to the top fouls on the coolant pipe leading to the rad. How do you get around this???
