Bought an AFR meter and have wired it in at the ecu. A switch is installed so that both lambda outputs can be checked easily. Trouble is I dont know what a proper output is like. Cemesis took a look at TRAX last week and didnt seem to think things were right though.
Rear Bank: Signal is erratic and doesnt seem to correspond with engine unless u r applying a heavy throttle. It varies wildly from green to lean when ticking over and on steady medium throttle.
Front Bank: Signal appears to be more or less as I expect it should work. It will hold at a steady throttle, go lean when u back off and show rich when u boot it. The only reason I question this one is that it appears to be a bit slow. From what I have read the lambda signal reacts very quickly.
Will buy a sensor as soon as cash is available but Russ has just lost his job SOOOOOOOO. Can anyone shed some light in the mean time.
