I know theres a prob with the mk2 astras, weak bulkhead and wide tyres mean flex and eventually split the bulkhead.
Is this a prob with the mk3 cav as well?
Just asking cos i been checking to see whats creaking on my steering this eve, gotta friend to turn the steering while i looked in the engine bay, strut tops move maybe 6 or 7 mm, poss a little more but looked kinda normal. Then noticed that the accumulator assy is twisting and moving on the bulkhead when steering rocked!!!
Is this the norm, poss someone can check on theirs, i know the accu is linked to the PS but looks like bulkhead flex to me.
