i have a new clutch on order. whats going to be the procedure for getting at it...
up on ramps, support engine with a bit of wood and an axle stand, undo cables and linkage, undo gearbox mounts, undo gearbox, gear box out underneath, work on clutch, fitting reversal of removal?
will the gearbox clear the bodywork if the car is on ramps (don't mind removing the bumper, ramps are standard £20 jobs from machine mart)?
any gen in advance really appreciated!
oh, and how heavy (roughly speaking) is the gearbox?
oh crap, the shafts will have to come out. that screws ramps dunnit?
