Sorry to push this back up the list!
But I'm in a bit of a rush, since I'm changing the head.
Can I leave the blue injectors in the head I'm putting on,
or will I have to swap them for the white ones out of my old head.
The car starting drinking water, vanishing without a trace, then it started to miss. Took the head off no cracks or anything, gasket looked fine. Anyway took it to be skimmed, he took 4 thou off. Put it back together new gasket and bolts, from vaux, one week later same thing again. Took it back to the guy who skimmed it, he said there was nothing wrong with it, new gasket back together, he helped, a few days later same thing again. Must be porous so now I'm changing the head. He also said the block was ok. It's the newer type head with the blue colour injectors, just wanted to know if I could keep these in the head.
just leave the blus in
if the head was pourous , you dont loose any water, it just jest gunked up, check your pump isnt leaking and chec all hoses for splits, best to do it when the engine is hot as the water is under pressure and will be forced ouy and small hole
