How do I get around the drive shaft problem? Can I use a Astra Cavalier combo to fit the Nova hubs. Bearing in mind that I have an early xe will I get away with sawing off the power steering pully and using a hammer to make room in the engine bay for the alternator to fit the Nova engine bay .

for the driveshafts you can use cavvy mk2 1600 big block inner cv's and you're nova shafts, as for the alternater a hammer will do, yes, and the bottom pulley idea will be ok too

rite,
use a hammer to make way for alternator,
lath the bottom pully pas off dont just saw it as it will be inbalenced,

for the shafts you have to use either nova gsi/gte as i am aware and use the normal outer koints with the cav mk2 inner joints,

they are a very strong set up i have used them with no probs but depends what sort of power that you are running i suppose
