I have mounds of oil covering the dipstick assembly and dipstick pipe - Someone in the past has cut the dipstick pipe in half and transplanted a 4" length of rubber hose in place of the removed bit, held on to the assembly/existing pipe with a jubilee clip - it is a bit of a crap job too. There is oil all over the dipstick pipe and the joint. This I believe to be the main cause of oil on the outside of my engine. It stinks too.
The whole assembly looks like it can come off if two bolts holding it onto the engine are removed, but where can I get a complete new dipstick assembly from? Every scrapyard I have found with Calibras on never have any with engines.
Might be worth doing the breather mod - do a search for breather mod there are plenty of posts on it.
This should reduce pressure in the sump and hence minimise the leak you have.
Also put a post in the wanted section for the dipstick assembly, somone might have one.

thats right, undo the 2 allen key cap bolts, and it should come off along with a thin gasket (probably won't notice it becasue its that thin).
New thin gasket
then fit the oil dip stick tube
Note that there are 2 types, they look very simialr to the untrained eye, so make sure its from the same year as yours. There was one for sale a few months ago for about £20 becasue it had been powered coated. Remving it is ok apart from you may have to remove the echaust manifold to get a allen key bit in there otherwsie they tend to round off (words of experiance here
