F16 - F20 Questions
I've found out i've got an F16 instead of an F20 in my car
Whats the difference?
ie speed in gear
Would an F20 fit straight on without having to get a new clutch?
oh, it used to be a 1.8 GSi if that helps..
Oh, According to my speedo, i can do 60mph at the top of 2nd
presuming the F16 that you have is the close ratio version, it has exactly the same ratios as the F20, infact its 99.8% the same gearbox.
whats the .2%?
And whats the other version?
Youd have less transmission losses cos its a weaker box, so more power at the wheels

weaker diff, yes, weaker box, no, cause they are the same.
