think 8k might be a bit high aswell, as 150+ is possible within the standard rev limit of 6200rpm with standard induction but its all guessing and i will happely accept im wrong if proved, as ive never done it myself to prove otherwise.
150/6200*5252 = 127lbft
180/7444*5252 = 127lbft
So assuming you could move the torque curve straight up the rev range (you MAY be able to slightly better than that but not much) then you are looking at nearly 7.5K for getting your 180bhp, and like i said you do NOT change up when you hit peak bhp, you change up afterwards, dont any of you guys do track days or anything?
