My girlfriend has just bought a new car. It's a 1996 1.6 8v Astra Premier. The car is in very good condition and it seems pretty sound mechanically. The only thing I have noticed is that the clutch biting point is very high, almost at the top of the pedal travel. It had a new clutch not long ago and I wondered if I could adjust the biting point. Will the adjustment nut lower the biting point or will it lower the actual pedal and have little effect on the biting point.
