To get the SFi box in is a pain in the arse. Instead, use the rubber pipe from the 2.0litre 16v Ecotec unit. Then u attach that to a plate, i got mine from V-Tuning @ £60. its expensive, but great quality. Speak to BeArDy on Corsasport.co.uk with regards to cheaper alternatives from other places (not as good a quality though).
Pipe costs about £15 from vauxhall.
Not a very good pic, but u can see the plate clearly at the back. The intake pipe is in the middle behined the strut brace, the plate is below the strut brace (well it looks it)
Originally posted by 0ddball i'd favour the power cap over the ecotec adapter. power cap still has some volume to it, and its the same size as the whole throttle apeture, which the ecotec adapter isnt.
how about something custom made? is the shape of the SFi box important, or is it just the volume?
A mate of mine cut the back of the SFi box off until it fit in the corsa, then fibreglassed the back to seal it up and painted it matt black, and it only cost the price of some fibrglass and a tin of spray!
