I am having lots of free time these days. So I started with lubricating every little thing that I can. Started with fan,doors,hand-brake,windscreen washers, el.door lifters etc. and all that done with WD-40 or silicone spray.Feels like alomost new So, next thing is gearbox. I would like gear stick wouldn't have so much space when engaged - you know not exactly fit as new. So, I conclude that it is gear linkage to blame. I used search on the old threads on gear linkage that are usually regarding reverse crunching during engaging. My question: is it possible to set-up(strenghten) this thingy, is it hard to do or risky, or at the end - what's the cost for new one? I am hoping that this would also eliminate reverse crunching and to ease 1st and 2nd gear engaging(sometimes).
