Right we've already deduced that my piston rings my be worn hence my apparently smoking exhaust at high revs, however I'm also noticing a burning oil smell at high revs too. I asume the two are connected? Could the smell be a breather blockage problem? I'm gonna check the breathers and look for oil in the throttle body.
I don't think my psiton ring problem can be too bad considering I can't see any smoke through the mirror, just people driving behind me tell me it smokes on gear change.
what colour is the smoke, if its blue its oil, if its black its fuel, mine give a puff of black smoke ever now and then, bit more since fitting tb's, if the is alot of oil in the inlet then it will be the ring as the crankcase pressure forces the oil up the breather hose and back onto the inlet.
whta is if it smokes white after starting hot???it smells llike oil...(i gues)but it's white??(like wather)and sometimes oil yust dissapers??!?!?!?!oil has been checked in teh morning in te morning after 50km dome its dry???but only sometimes!!!
