So were you festering around in the fuel tank for a bit trying to get it in??
Is it fairly easy to slot in to the swirl pot in the tank??
Inspection bit off at the top??
Cheers for the gen haven't looked at it yet
It goes in and out through the hole under the rear seat.
I spent a bit of time trying to work out how much it needed shortening by; If you take about 10mm off the outlet tail and use 2 new gaskets (about £3.50 for 2 at vaux) and you might need to use longer bolts, then it fits ok.
nope, managed to trick the dta by editing the txt file on my computer then uploading
but thinking aboiut that its still no good really if its fualty. we shall see
been around 4 engineering places this morning non of which sell fuel proof seals
the tps defo has a feed of 5v, and it outputs from 2.5v to 4v on full deflection, im guessing it shud read either 0v or 1v upto 5v :s
place i got it from say that have a space if i wanna take mine and they will test it, or take my car and thel help etc. so still relying on the seals which jenvy have sent 2nd class AGAIN after i asked for 1st class as they sent the wrong 1s
well, you'reright about the tps, i'd take it off and check its range with a screwdriver or similar in it, should be 0. something to 5 volts, sound like its a duff'n to me, so can you connect to the ecu yet?
