I recently picked up a set of Courtenay 2.5 Hi-Torque cams, 2nd hand on here:http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/showt...731#post880731
They have a lift 9.5mm (Checked using Vernier calipers, across cam, and across base, and also using a DTi with the cam in a lifterless head.)
They also have 135 Degree duration, again using a DTi, and angle gauge.
Thing is, I checked one of the original cams, and it has 10mm lift and 135 degree duration.
I also have a set of GTE standard cams that have 9.5mm lift, and Hi-torque cams that have a lift of 10mm.
The Courtenay V6 cams have 594 stamped on the end, which they say is what they put on the modified cams.
So how can these cams gain 15BHP with a lower lift??
