When I changed my engine for another XE I kept my origional ECU, and the guy I sold the old engine to got the new one.
However, my car is a G reg, and the car the engine came from was an H reg - any chance the ecus are different in any way?
I ask because I have no lambda sensor, yet I think the car the engine came from (Cemesis') did have a lambda sensor!
that would explain why his CO emissions were really low when the engine was in his car, and really high in mine.
I need to fit a lambda sensor, and I will when I get the SBD manifold, any potential problems in doing this with the old ECU and wiring etc?
