doing a engine transplant on my beast soon just wandering what i could do to the engine bay suspension to improve handaling any places where welding patches on improves ridgiditty (well however you spell it)
er, harry hockley motorsport? sorry...
they are at www.hh-ms.com, it makes alot of difference as far as strenght of the engine bay and suspension mounting points are concerened it was developed for th factory backed rally novas so is competition proven too, bit of a job to fit though, but well worth it
Originally posted by 16vastra personally i wouldnt (and didnt lol) bother with the HH strengthening kit. not worth it unless you are gonna rally/hillclimb with some nice power....ah feck best get one then lmao
you see! you never know when you might get the urge to go batshit up a hill climb so get one! will also hlp if you are fitting a big block lump
where's the best place to get polly bushes and suspension kits? i'm upgrading brakes to 16v at the front and disks on the back it's only a standard 16v lump going in when i mod the engine i'll uprate the brakes.
i got superflex bushes from novetech, really good but harder to fit than polyflex as they are one pice not split like the polyflex, i like lower strut braces and want one for my nove but dont know where to get one!
i think i'll go for superflex bushes and my new alloys and some strut braces for the minute then when i can raise more funds some coilovers well be on the way the lowering springs on original dampers will have to do for the minute
