just bought cav turbo
just bought a cav turbo, oh my word! she a fox
was reading forums so pulled fuse 19 and did a diagnostic, think i need crank sensor and o2 sensor, wheres best for all the kit?
Hay don't rush out and buy stuff for it. There will be plenty of time for that later.
I doubt you need a crank sensor. ( you always get that code when the codes are read with the engine off)
oxygen sensor code 13 ? possible
buts what's more likely is 113 over boost.
What colour /reg is it ? leather ? air con ?
Milage ? price ?
nice one cheers cheif!! the guy before me has gone to town on it , its been well looked after
silver, black leather, unmarked, 73000 bit suspect, k, lowered at the front, new turbo with warranty, 16 in hockenhimes, all mintex braskes, shes a beut
As you might of read on here you need to keep the thread on all 4 tyres the same depth to prevend damage to the 4x4.
If it's been lowered you might need to fit a rear camber kit to prevent tyre and 4x4 damage.
There are 3 ways of doing this from
1. Free with loads and loads of labour (dropping the IRS off)
2. Irmscher bushes - (not good for large drops)
3. KMAC bushes £200 + labour + adjusting
Also the 4x4 accumulator under the bonnet should have a white ring round it. If it hasn't it should be replaced straight away.
Otherwise it should be replaced every 6 years/54K miles. £100
You should also consider changing your txbox oil, PAS oil and engine oil. You must use the correct stuff in the txbox though else it will do more harm than good

but the rear spoiler dissapears from my rear view as it is when i boot it lol, scared of scrapin exhaust lol
yeah! definately gotta change the accumilator, no white ring, thats the reason ive pulled fuse 19,
also loses power at about 5000rpm in second, no more pull!!
is the best place (price wise) I've found for O2 sensors if you do need one. best get a gen Bosch one.
