When my car is warm and been idling for a while then give it a rev I get a HUGE blue cloud of smoke. When driving it is fine but just after idling for a while. It does not do it when cold. Something else I have noticed is when it is idleing I get a very small amount of smoke coming from the breather pipe of my oil catch tank.
The rings are not very old the head has been overhauled although there was some wear on the guides. The turbo has not been touched but there is no oil in the boost side of the intercooler pipes.
Any suggestions and how can I check. I thought it might be because of bore wash as the idle mixture was 6.5 which is very rich but i have just turned it down and the afr gauge is not even showing a red light now and it is still happening.
