Make sure the bolts are undone and are still in the holes. They are will help keep the cv joint togeather. If you look on the transfer box there is a black plastic coller. Going into that the metal cv joint casing. Tap it gently from tx box end and it should all come out as one leaving the plastic coller on the box.
you have to disconnect the short piece of prop for the longer piece near the front of the box. You have done this right?
