Right we have hit a snag.
Basically we have taken a 2.0ltr 16v XE from a Nova and planted it and its loom into a MK3 Astra cabby.
Now it wont start. We are getting a spark but it would appear no fuel. The fuel pump aint pumping.
We think we have put it down to a plug problem.
The XE lump Loom had on the end of it a Relay and a plug with 7 wires. This connected into another loom in the Nova engine bay, but there is no such connection on the MK3 loom.
Instead there is a Relay (the same part number) and a square plug with 7 wires under the dash by the ECU.
The colours of the wires do not match up in colour or size in some cases, For example in the Nova engine bay the socket has a large red wire which is soldered onto a very large obvious live wire.
Can anyone help us.
