I am in the middle of a cambelt change on an 18se engine and its a right fecker, it tensions on the water pump not the idlers like normal engines and it just wont shift at the mo i cant even get the old belt off.. I have followed the haynes manual.. ie slacken the three retaining bolts off and swivel the pump to take the tension off the belt. (missed out the steps where it says curse and swear then cut an allen key in half so you can actually get at the bloody things, then to find the feckin thing wont move....... aaarrrggghhhh all I can say is it better not rain tomorrow !!!!
