    LET Backpressure in exhaust

Did some measurements on backpressures at diff boost with original exh.manifold. Measured just before the entrance to the Turbine at 4000 rpm.

Useful information or "nice to have" ? I dont know, but here it is.

    Boost / Backpressure.

    - 0,2 / 0,25
    0,0 / 0,45
    0,1 / 0,55
    0,3 / 0,75
    0,5 / 0,90
    0,7 / 1,30
    0,9 / 1,80
    1,1 / 2,00
    1,3 / 2,20
    1,5 / 2,45

Do you have any more, or any rpm figures?

You see, 1 bar boost at 3Krpm is not the same as 1 bar at 5Krpm, the backpressure will be much higher the second time

I'd like to use these figures in my website, if you don't mind

    PS:
you have specified that you don't want to receive emails or Private Messages from this board. Is this intentional, or some default setting you never changed?

    Hi JohnA,

All the measurments is done at 4000 rpm.

Mybe I can do some tests at higher revs.

I will also do some tests after the Turbine.

If you want to use the figures on your exellent site, please do.

    Private mess. is now ON.

high back pressure = low power. Because this need use a big turbine and good exhaust manifold when you think in make a really strong turbo engine.

    cheers,
