    Camshaft housing C16SE

Just removed the camshaft housing today to inspect the camshaft, doh what are those pits, doh. Anyway, i was trying to clean it and the question is:

Does any one know if it comes apart there is like an inner piece of plastic and what looks like a filter piece between the two bits of plastic?

Any help appreciated the haynes manual states remove the bolts and the filter will come out, well I be darned but i dont see any bolts. Its all platic.

Vaux want £116.23 for a new plastic one.Doh

I currently steeping in parrafin oil and will get pressure washed and then steeped and cleaned before it is refitted but, Can i seperate the two pieces?

    Any help appreciated.

Left the cam cover steeping in Parafin and then used the pressure washer on it. He ehe black lumbs of hard oil flying all over the place. But it looks like new now.
