I have been having a look at easymap trying to get a handle on how to use it properly in anticipation of getting my lambda sensor working (once I figure out the wiring) and come across a snag. I can't get a lambda display because my version of easymap is stuck in the basic user profile and for you to get access to lambda control it seems you need to get into one of the more advanced user profiles. When I try to get in it asks for a pin code, and the normal SBD code doesn't work. I have a lambda enabled map thanks to 16Vastra, but I wouldn't mind having access to the lambda display so I can see what is going on. Does anyone know how you can do this i.e. has the pin code or a non coded version of easymap (I downloaded mine from the SBD website).
when the ecu is plugged in, easymap automatically starts logging - this will last for a 6 or 7 minute period before it starts overwriting the beginning of the log due to size in kb
to save it you just click logging and then save log. save it with relevant data (revs, lambda1, TPS whatever) and have a look thro at your leisure
Thanks Rob. Now it seems I will have to trace all the wires back from the ECU I may be slightly delayed in fitting the sensor, especially as I am away this weekend. Still I will get there in the end. I was talking to Kenny last saturday (I was over seeing Andy McS 's car and he was there) He said you are coming up next month to help him set up his astra on the TBs. If it is OK I wouldn't mind coming over to meet you (Kenny said it was cool with him) and get a look at your car.
