It looks as if my turbo is knackered as I have been getting oil coming out of the dump valve (this was shown up quite clearly at the Club Calibra RR day at Star Performance by the large aount of oil left on the RR). I've got a K26 hybrid arriving that should solve the problem.
BUT the car is also loosing a lot of oil through the large breather hose from the rocker cover (I've got a 1lt catch tank fitted and this fills up over about 150 miles of driving).
All the breather hoses are clear and I've fitted a new non return valve in the small breather hose to the throttle body so the pressure thats blowing the oil out of the large breather isn't from there. The head is a new (2000 miles) and was flowed by V tuning and pressure tests OK.
The only other thing that has been changed recently is the oil pump which now has steel gears. The oil pressure under load is 4-4.5Bar and 2.5Bar at idle. Why is so much oil being thrown out of the breather and where is thew pressure coming from?
