nova 16v gearlinkage!!!!!!!
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!
ive been told many different storys on how to do it and none have been correct!!!!!
keep hearing different things!
to start off which linkage do you use???
any modifications on it???
is it hard???
You use the nova gear linkage. You need to swivel the white nylon bit which ataches to the selector on the box around by 180degrees. It needs to be filed slightly so that you can do this.
Hope this helps.
put a good fitting screw driver in it and just force it round
why do you have to do that out of interest???
what would happen if you didnt???
I used the original Nova linkage and didn't touch it at all, BUT i did have to cut about an inch off the rod coming out from the gear lever. If you don't alter the rod OR the linkage, with the g/box in first gear your gearstick is where 2nd and 4th are so there is no room to get these gears.
