Anybody got an idea of what happens if you fit a turbo that is too small for the engine you are working on.
I am asking this as I have a Brand new Garrett gt15 sitting at home and My girlfriend has a MKIII Astra GSI that she wants to go a little bit faster.
Short of a LET transfer I was wondering what the result would be of modding the exhaust manifold to take this small turbo would be?
Having looked at the Garrett site it appears that the t15 is rated up to 1600c.c. for petrol cars.
Not worried about the work as I have all the kit to do it, just wondered if it would be a total waste of time??????
