Hi, i bought(by bought i mean stole a set of lifters off Miles a while back with the idea of cleaning them up. They were from a Astra GTE 16v with around 100k on the clock.
My Calibra is on 148k and taps a fair bit when cold but also when warm too.
Anyway, i followed the re-condition lifters guide as seen on 16vastra's site and John A's site.
My plan is to get these cleaned lifters put in when the cambelt is done this month.
Any downside? Everything has worn together on the Calibra head. Are there any worries in fitting lifters from a different head?
Probably nothing to worry about, just checking
Cant see a problem as people replace one if ones noisy.
