I was just putting my pipercross filter back on to my carb after fitting the breather to it, when I drop a nut into the carb, i took it out, and checked if I dropped anything else in by taking the carb off. then when I had finished I started the engine, and thats when I started to sh.1t myself.
loads of noises, and it started missing, so immediately I realised what had happened and switched the car off.
A WASHER had fallen in (I know its a washer cos there was one missing from the pipercross fixing plate), its in the engine, and could've caused damage, what shall I do?
1. I can repair it or get someone to repair it
2. it scratch up everything so I have to get it reborred, too expensive?
3. new engine
4. new car
the car was working perfectly, before this, its a g-reg belmont mk2 1.4, and very quick for a cheapy 1.4. I would like to get it repaired and use it for another couple of months until I can afford a gte or something similar, but I need a car (cos now I have to get a tram to work).
