I am needing extra amounts of fuel into my fuel rail, but trying to buy an uprated pump is apparently like trying to get blood from a stone.
I have now decided to ditch the single pump method and run a 2nd pump parralel to the first.
I already have another Standard Fuel pump, a brand new filter, a new machined end for the fuel rail as the input line for the fuel, and all the hoses, all i need is to find a place to take a feed from the petrol tank on my Astra Mk3.
The Original pump is still in the fuel tank itself and thats where its staying.
The 2nd pump i want to mount under the car as on the earlier Mk2 Astra's and cav's cally etc, for this I need to take a feed from the bottom of the tank, I have no haynes books and cannot see the car at the moment, but if i remeber right, there is already a fuel line going into the bottom of the tank (could be the return) and next to it I think theres another recess that is not used, does anyone have anymore info on this or a picture out of a haynes book.
I guess my best bet is to go to a scrappers and look at one off the car, but its getting the time to do this,
Thanks for any help.
