Not car related - sorry - but still basic engine principals. I want to get more power out of a 6cyl turbo diesel truck engine in a Unimog(mercedes benz). An uprated fuel pump has been fitted to boost power (std factory engine mod to about 150-170hp). I was wondering about fitting a charge cooler from a similar sized engine. Does anyone have ballpark rules/guides to allow me to work out how much extra fuelling would be required? Any other observations?
