Well the rebuild stage of my engine is coming ever closer with funds available and most parts bought for the build....
I have spoken to a couple of different people with regard to injectors and the questions I have asked is...
1. Will I need XE injectors as I have been informed that standard NE injectors run out of puff at 150bhp....
2. If I was to use XE injectors would I be overfuelling at lower revs.....?
3. Are there any alternatives to XE injectors..?
To recap the spec of the engine being built..
2.0 8v bottom end. NE Pistons.
Blydeinstien B + head
Holbay hi lift cam (unknown rating ie- fast road etc)
Janspeed 4-2-1 manifold
Uprated valve springs
Lexmaul inlet manifold
Modified 2.5/3.0 Throttle body
Fully lightened and Balanced
Flywheel has also been lightened.
I am also toying with te idea of increasing the rev limit slightly although am unsure of the benfits I could reep form raising the limit on an engine that is known for making peak power within the standard rev limit....
Thanks in advance....
