Yesterday I removed the starter motor from my car, and also took the starter motor off my donor car.
Today, I set about replacing my starter with that from the donor car. I fitted it, and checked all the wiring too, ie> wires (Large Red) to alternater, and (Small black and brown) to block connector near the battery, and (large black wire) to earth, and everything looked fine.
I reconnected the battery, went to start the car, and Im still getting the same problem, ie> Clicking sound coming from the starter motor. I know this starter motor works 100% too, so it looks like my problem lyes somewhere else.
This has really stumped me.
Any know where the problem may lye.? Theres no immobiliser fitted. The batterys fully charged.
The only next thing I can try is replace all the wiring. I have checked the fuses, and all are ok.
Can anyone help, this is doing my head in.
