Well been working on this GTE again today, Head back on etc, started the engine brilliant but it soon died out, then from there after it wouldn't go.
Checked for spark etc, used a fuel injector harness teester and the light shined VERY bright, checked compression and found bore's and plugs VERY wet, Compression was at 150 psi.
Removed fuel return line to see if regulator was actually working - was fine, no idea of pressure though.
Fitted a new ECU temp sensor and checked the wire continuity to ECU and fine, checked AFM wire's all ok, read any fault codes and only one was Crankcase sensor as engine was not running.
Tried a mk3 CAV sri ECU and still no joy.
I am thinking the compression is too low still,
Any help would be appreiciated as i am now dumbfouned with it.
