We seem to have a few Diesel Tuners on this site, and I want to see how much knowledge I can get from you all.
So far most of my info on Diesel Tuning comes from this basic article.....
However, I want to know more.
Seeing as Diesels power is realated to the MIXTURE not the Volume of Fuel/Air thats throttled in (ala petrol). Ie it runs lean on part throttle and near-stoich on full throttle, then it seems on Turbo diesels you wont kill it buy running lean as thats what its designed to do!
So what are the limitations?
Or is it just how much physical boost/fuel you can fit in the combustion chamber to stop it going over-stoich (which wont kill it AFAIK just annoy the emissions people) without the Head being fired into space???
Do things like bore wash happen when run super rich???
Simple questions like that.
