bit of advice needed as haynes manual yet again is useless..
today bit of a scraping noise.. then large scraping noise.. on closer inspection water dripping from cam cover, so im assuming water pump is knackered..... right from what i can see in haynes manual cam sprockets need to be removed, cam belt, cam belt back plate and pulleys. then onto water pump. 3 bolts and out it pops in goes new one with new sealing ring, im guessing comes with this.. then re-assemble everything. and fit new timing belt..
im quite worried about fiddling with timing belts, as last time, i ended up with bent valves.. is there any thing else i need to do, or should be doing.. ta.. has anybody else done this and how long did it take.. ?
