If anyone can follow this, what do you think?
My 4 injectors are currently configured for group fire (MBE), each injector is interfaced directly by the traction control (TC) unit and can therefore be overriden.
If you dont know, the TC unit works by sensing wheelspin then overriding individual injectors to prevent a particular cylinder from combusting (note here that the cylinder will still spark).
What concerns me is that there is the possibility of lean running in the situation that the TC unit overrides a given injector, theoretically preventing fuel from entering the cylinder, but in fact causing lean running as a previous group fire of injectors will have caused fuel to collect in the inlet manifold of the given cylinder.
If anyone can make sense of what I am saying, what are your thoughts?
I've emailed Racelogic for their advice.
