I don't think u can buy the original 'crimp type' hose clips. I kno what u mean though, I hate Jubilee clips on small-bore hoses, they look really untidy and cut into the hose. I'm currently having similar dilemas with the hoses/pipework on my LET engine.
Anyway, I've just fitted two 'clamp type' hose clips, they're circular (obviously!) but have a tiny screw at the side. It just tightens down but can't cut into the hose and looks really smart.
Sorry about the poor description but they're really difficult to describe! If it's of any help, I bought mine from Dutton Forshaws in Maidstone.
I used the crimp type fittings for my 5th injector fuel feed line as jubilee clips split the hose. Find somewhere that supplies hydraulic pipe locally and they will have the fittings you need and you can use pliers to fit them.
